Stressed but Well Dressed

Hej!

You may or may not know about my presence at Chinese (language) classes every week. I normally go, it creates a time where I can pursue to expand my knowledge of the world outside of my own and not be surrounded by idiots or stress. For those three and a half hourse every Saturday, I am free of the burdens that lay upon my shoulders.
But this week the stress was too much, and I was extremely tired. I needed a break, a break where I didn't have to think. At all.
Normally, my Chinese classes would commence at 9am and finish at 12.30, I had to wake up at 8am in order to have enough time to get ready, but I was so tired that I rose at 8.30 and didn't get out of bed until 8.50.
My mum was yelling at me, telling me that I needed to get up and go to Chinese. She also said that she was sick of being responsible for my lateness every week, just because I didn't leave enough time for her to drive.
I asked her why I had to continue to attend, and she explained that I had to keep going until I found out whether or not I had got into a school. A school that, by the way, I didn't actually want to go to. It was 5th on my list.

Anyway, I ended up not going this morning, and she was pretty mad, so she told me that I wasn't allowed to go to one of my only 'friend's' birthday parties tonight.
Also, if you didn't previously know, I don't have friends. I have one friend, and she lives on the other side of the world. In my first Primary school, I had great friends, but we've lost contact. In my second Primary school, I had my best friend. In my first Secondary school, I had three friends, and they were fabulous, but now we're starting to grow apart and lose contact. They're just 'friends' now... In my current school, I have no friends. They're all simply too stupid. I do, however, have 2 'friends' and they are only 'friends' because they read some books that I like, and Fangirl over them...

Anyway, this girl's birthday party is the first one I have been invited to all year, and you know, I kinda wanted to go, but no no no...
My mother has refused to take me (and it's already started so I should probably text her to tell her that I won't be going... shit...) all because I was too tired and stressed to attend Chinese.

And, an hour and a half after the party should have started, they are texting me because my mother, as I just found out, didn't text them to warn them about my absence.

No Hello, Honey

Hej!
This morning I returned to school, having being sick for the past six days, and was greeted by my form's leader giving me a yellow slip.
The slip looked like this:

Which, understandably, scared me, due to the fact that when you receive one of these, it normally means that you've got a detention (YAY... not...).

So I finished up my hour and a quarter of nailing, sticking and sanding in Wood Technology, and off I went to the reception to see the teacher. When I arrived, around two minutes into recess, there were only two or three teachers in there, so I knocked on the door which was then answered by Mrs Young-Idiot (I'm not using proper name, due to the fact that one of you anonymous readers may well attend my current school). Please keep in mind, when reading this conversation that:
  • I have NEVER had this teacher in a class before.
  • She's only been at the school for two years.
  • She's a young (I'd say 25 years old) teacher, with blond hair and tonnes of make up.
  • She raised her voice when saying the BOLD dialogue.
  • She raised her voice louder, when speaking the BOLD AND ITALIC dialogue.
Here is the conversation:
Mrs YI: Hello.
Me: Hi, sorry, I received this yellow slip in period one, asking me to come to the Reception at recess.
Mrs YI: HELLO, SORRY, I RECEIVED this yellow slip...
Me: *looks quizzical*
Mrs YI: When someone says HELLO, they expect you to say HELLO back!
Me: Okay... sorry...
Mrs YI: Whatever, what do you want?
Me: Well... I received this yellow sl-
Mrs YI: Yep, okay. Who is your student manager?
Me: Mrs Teacher.
Mrs YI: Well she's not here right now, just sit over there until she comes.
Me: Thank you.
Mrs YI closes the door and huffs.

*5 minutes later*

Mrs Teacher walks into the reception and realises that I am there, so she gives me a sheet to fill out blah blah blah, turns out there is no detention and when I go to hand it back, I have to wait for them to finish their stupid birthday cake before Mrs YI opens the door, snatches the piece of paper and shuts it.

So, in the end this took up 10/15 minutes of MY recess, doing something that the TEACHER was meant to bring to class to get done.

My school is always like this, though. I mean, none of the teachers treat the students with any respect whatsoever, and you are NOT a person, when taught, you're simply a number that is earning them money.

And then the teachers pass it down onto the students.

It wouldn't be a tragedy if a plane crashed into that hell-hole.

Sidospår

Hej!
{Sidospår means sidetracked.}

Sorry, this isn't a real post, it's just a really awesome thing I found online.
So you can send your name off to Mars with the NASA, which is pretty cool, so here's my ticket.

Random Divergence

Hej!
The other day someone asked me how I read the Divergent trilogy...
It's such a random question! But after all, this blog is also very random...
So here is my answer:

Divergent
I read this book via iBooks. I was going to buy the actual book, but then all of the fandom accounts that I was following started talking about it, and so I quickly bought it on iBooks and read it in a couple of days.
It was actually perfect timing, because they announced that it was becoming  a movie not long after that.
I have now bought all of the books in paperback.

Insurgent
My mum rarely ever buys books out of the blue, but this one night, she came home with Insurgent! It was a couple of weeks after I read Divergent.
At the end of Insurgent, they murdered like three thousand people, so I could not wait for Allegiant!

Allegiant
So, due to the fact that I had to wait AGES for Allegiant, I downloaded an *illegal* copy from a website just so I could gobble it up. Tell you what, that ending was magnificent. ;D
But don't worry, I bought all of the series in paperback ASAP...

Okay...
That was very random!

Two New Messages!

Hej! So here are some questions that people sent in via my Instagram, in return for an opinion. I was going to use them on the Truth Serum post, but then I found these envelopes and thought against it. Have fun!

In regard to @Mr0kem's question, I also have limited information about the happenings in America, due to the fact that it is not my home country, although living in one of the allied countries, I went with the information that we receive
Now, @BurninTwelve's question could be looked at in multiple perspectives, but I went with something along the lines of assimilating to your new home's customs and traditions. If I went with equal job opportunities themed equal rights, I would say that if you have been declared a citizen of the country you're in, you should definitely have an equal chance at a job.
I could have also gone the way of questioning the differences between rights and responsibilities in all countries. Now, this would create a peaceful world for a short amount of time. One of the most interesting things about foreign countries is their way of living, which would be completely destroyed if you created an international rights and responsibilities rule.
The reason I have said rule, is because the Universal Rights and Responsibilities document already exists, but not all countries can afford, or want to go by it. (Which does, in fact, cause war.)

"Truth Serum"

Hej!
In this post I will answer five questions that some of my fangirl/fanboy friends have sent to me.
If you've read the novel, Divergent (Veronica Roth) you'll know that under the influence of Candor's Truth Serum, you must tell the truth and only the truth.

Hej Hej!

No, I am not from Sweden, nor do I speak the language or learn the language. In fact, other than reading one Swedish book at a friend's house, and visiting Kikki K's website, I haven't had anything to do with the language.
I just really love the way that 'hello' is written in Swedish and so I decided to use it in my blog. If you have a problem with that, please do hesitate to share it with me and go see a psychologist who is required to listen to your words of complete and utter idiocy.
Anyway, hej!
